Linda Wall, a talented doll artist and D.A.G. Educator, founded Uniquely Yours Porcelain Dolls in Strasburg, Colorado, in 1999 after retiring from her job with the Federal government as Chief of Labor/Management Employee Relations Division. She teaches weekly dolls classes and seminars on all aspects of Porcelain dollmaking. She has also taught dollmaking at her local community college, senior center as well as the after-school program for children. For many years, she sponsored an annual doll show through the Strasburg Historic Society and helped organize the Colorado Doll and Bear Extravaganza. She recently started collecting items for Dolls for Dogs for Vets, with all proceeds going to Rocky Mountain Dawgs Project (RMDP). RMDP supports purchasing and training service dogs for veterans. After becoming a D.A.G. Instructor Linda began teaching D.A.G. seminars at her studio and at other locations around the country. She has been an integral part of D.A.G. events and supported events, where she teaches workshops, presents lectures, judges’ dolls, serves as Competition Registrar and represents the D.A.G. A top award-winning artist, Linda has earned the Award of Excellence Dollmaking title and holds the D.A.G. Master Educator status and is a frequent contributor to Dolls Beautiful magazine. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Doll Artisan Guild International, Inc. since 2009. In 2014 the D.A.G. bestowed the honorary Doctor of Dollmaking title on Linda because of her long dedication and innumerable contributions to the Doll Artisan Guild and the porcelain doll making industry. Linda is the Regional Director of Region 6 representing the United Federation of Doll Clubs (U.F.D.C.). After a three-year apprenticeship under Elizabeth Ann Coleman, she is a Judge for U.F.D.C. She also works for the Turn of the Century restoring dolls.
